I’m Emily, an artist with a background in Studio Art and Art Education. I live in London, but my work is shaped by the places I’ve been, the things I love, and the people who invite me to paint for them.

The Painted Passport began as a small creative ritual of painting my passport cover for every new destination, and somewhere along the way it grew into a habit of putting meaning within my artwork.

You'll see most of my work is commission based. I really enjoy when someone shares an idea or story and I get to turn it into a painting that has memory, symbolism, or a sense of nostalgia. My personal pieces are often inspired by nature or from dreaming about my next trip to the ocean!
